PingFixer reduces Wifi latency and variability, otherwise known as lag. On OS X Mavericks, lag can occur when the system tries to save power by micro-sleeping the Wifi network adapter. PingFixer addresses this problem by forcing the Wifi adapter to stay awake. (Note that you will have less battery life with this enabled.)
Lag is especially important while playing online multiplayer games such as League of Legends, World of Warcraft, or DOTA. Additionally, PingFixer is compatible with FaceTime and other video conferencing solutions.
